We had a great Viking day in KS2

We had another successful Macmillan coffee morning and raised £367.08.

Thank you for all your support.

We had a successful Red Nose Day. We came in our own clothes including something red and we walked a mile together. We also had our Mothers’ Day shop – see the PTA page!

Pictured here are the winners from the ‘Red Nose Bake Off’ Thanks to our great cooks for judging the competition. It was a really difficult decision with so many wonderful cakes to choose from.

PSCO, Sue Eden has been running a ‘Young Cadets’ programme where the children have learnt about the role of the police. Pictured at their ‘Passing Out Parade’ where their certificates were presented by Inspector Thomas.

One of our pupils was the first child to receive a running blade from the West Midlands Rehabilitation Center Birmingham. Pictured with Philip Dunne (MP) and Senior Prosthetist (Andrew Sharpe)

The whole school enjoyed World Book Day 2017. A wide variety of  book characters arrived at Claverley today as children and staff dressed in their costumes.

Claverley in Bloom invited the children to take part in designing a poster for the village. The theme was to highlight the problems with litter and dog mess around the hedges and pathways. There was an incredible response which made the judging very difficult. Pictured are the winners with one of the Claverley in Bloom members. Well done to Harriet, George, Alice, Olivia, Tristan and Tom.

 Sporting Success

We are very proud to achieve the Gold award for our sporting achievements in July 2016.

Supporting schools in the Philippines

We have been collecting ring pulls to raise money to help children in the Philippines with their education. We weighed the ring pulls to find out which house team had collected the most.
