Claverley CE (Aided) Primary School

We are currently working on a new website which will go live soon!

We are delighted with our Ofsted report from the inspection on 9th May 2019 which confirms that we are still a Good school who has continued in its drive for the best outcomes for all our children. Please see the Ofsted tab to view the report.

We are a small, friendly school for pupils aged 4 – 11, based in Claverley in the beautiful Shropshire countryside.

Our motto is ‘To nurture, to learn, to achieve’

To be a thriving village school, defined by our core Christian values, from which all pupils leave happy and well rounded, equipped with the skills to succeed in the wider world having fulfilled their unique potential.

To create a caring and stimulating learning environment where all of our school community can grow into responsible and confident individuals.

To be creative and strive to provide memorable experiences inside and outside the classroom.

To have high expectations for every individual and aim for consistently high academic standards delivered through a broad and balanced curriculum.

To provide a safe, secure and nurturing environment where every member of our school is valued.

We aim to:

  • To value and recognise the uniqueness and achievement of every member of our school community
  • To keep our Core Christian Values at the heart of everything we do.
  • To deliver a broad and balanced curriculum based on the National Curriculum which provides a challenging curriculum for all children.
  • To develop learning activities which stimulate positive models of enquiry, reflection and challenge.
  • To equip children with the resilience and perseverance to become creative and independent thinkers and to become learners for life within an ever-changing world.
  • To nurture and support all abilities, helping every child to achieve his/her potential in all areas of learning – intellectual, emotional, physical, social, moral, spiritual and cultural.
  • To ensure excellence in teaching and learning within a high quality, warm and welcoming learning environment where everyone feels safe and secure.
  • To develop an understanding of the Christian faith based on the life and teaching of Jesus Christ.
  • To promote British Values and attitudes of care, tolerance, trust and respect within the school and wider communities.
  • To create a partnership between home, school and the wider community
