We are a small, friendly school for pupils aged 4 – 11, based in Claverley in the beautiful Shropshire countryside.

As a church school, we aim to offer a challenging education for the children within a Christian framework. We aim to develop an understanding of the Christian faith based on the life and teaching of Jesus Christ. Opportunities for the children’s spiritual development will be provided across many areas of the curriculum.

We seek to promote positive self–esteem for all pupils and the development of a caring attitude towards others. We have high expectations of children in both their work and behaviour. We believe that a welcoming and well ordered environment is the best place to nurture secure and happy learners. We place importance upon the partnership established between home, school and the wider community.

Our mission statement is summed up in the school’s motto,

“Working together for excellence”.

The phrase encapsulates the important partnership between pupils, teachers and parents, and the importance of enabling children to reach the highest achievements possible.
